YBN was started in January of 2000 by Bert Carder and Susie Fields, the owners of two other successful businesses in the salon industry, Passion: A Salon and Salon Training International. YBN’s goal is to provide beauty professionals with cost-effective business tools and support, helping them deal with their daily business challenges.

YBN members receive real-time daily business support which includes PHONE SUPPORT from “live” business advisors, MAIL SUPPORT from the monthly business builder CD, and WEB SUPPORT through the ybn.com website which offers the largest concentration of salon and spa specific business content on the web and industry specific proprietary tools like the Online Appointment Calendar, Career Hub, My Client Database, and eMarketing Tool.
